President Biden Provides an Update | 66 million people have not yet been vaccinated | COVID19 News
WASHINGTON- US President Joe Biden said that the imposition of vaccination against the “Covid-19” virus has succeeded in stimulating Americans to obtain the vaccine, but he criticized the continued high levels of unvaccinated people. “The vaccination requirements that we started enforcing this summer are working successfully, and the Department of Labor law on full-fledged corporate vaccination requirements is coming soon,” Biden said at a White House news conference. The Biden administration had indicated that the vaccination rate rose by more than 20% after the adoption of the decision to impose vaccination in recent months, as the president issued a decision in July that federal employees must receive vaccination or undergo a weekly test, before requiring vaccination alone in September the past. But the US president added: “The number of unvaccinated people has fallen to 66 million, it is still an unacceptably high number, we cannot allow that.” Some Republicans are refusing to force a coronavirus vaccination, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who issued an executive order banning companies from mandating a vaccination in the state.
