The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar issued a statement on Monday (May 17) that the Israeli army bombed the office building of the Qatar Red Crescent Society in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. Qatar strongly condemned this.
The statement said that the Israeli army’s bombing of the Qatar Red Crescent Society’s office building resulted in two deaths, some injuries, and partial damage to a nearby hospital building. The Israeli army also bombed humanitarian agencies and media agencies before. These actions are flagrant violations of international law, humanitarian norms and values.
The statement called on the international community to condemn this, take action to stop Israeli criminal activities in the occupied territories, and reiterated that Qatar will spare no effort to support the just cause of the Palestinian people.
In recent days, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has continued to escalate, causing a large number of casualties, including women and children, and arousing serious concern in the international community. The health department of the Gaza Strip said on the 17th that the Israeli bombing started on the 10th has killed at least 198 people, including 58 children and 35 women, and injured 1,300 others.
