Senior Japanese officials say the Tokyo Olympics may be held in an empty stadium


Japanese Minister of Administrative Reform Taro Kono said on Thursday (April 15) that under the coronavirus epidemic, the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics may be held empty this summer.

Kyodo News Agency reported that Taro Ai Kono said on TV Asahi: “Maybe it will be in the form of no audience. It is estimated that it will take a different approach from the previous Olympics.”
