Chilean study found that the Covid-19 Vaccine first dose alone has no protective effect

A Chilean study found that the Covid-19 Vaccine first dose alone cannot protect vaccinated persons from coronavirus infection.

The study conducted by the University of Chile found that two weeks after the second dose of the vaccine, the effectiveness of the vaccine to protect vaccinators was 56.5%, and in the first two weeks it was 27.7%. However, if only one dose is given, the effectiveness within 28 days between the first dose and the second dose is only 3%, which is equivalent to the margin of error for this type of study.

Coronavirus vaccination in Chile is one of the fastest-growing countries in South America, mainly using China’s Corona vaccine.
