A light helicopter crash occurred at Kuala Lumpur Subang Airport this morning. Five people on board including the pilot were rescued. Two of them were injured and the remaining three were not injured.
A spokesperson for the Selangor Fire Department said that the time of the accident was 9:26 this morning. He said that after receiving the report, the authorities sent five firefighters stationed at the airport to the rescue. “The helicopter did not catch fire, and all the injured were in a stable condition.” The model of the crashed helicopter was AIRBUS H125.
Petaling Jaya Police District Director Nie Yi Chani said that one of the injured was a co-pilot. He said that the cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the Aviation Accident Investigation Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation.
