A spokesperson for the World Health Organization said that the WHO Vaccine Safety Team is scheduled to announce the results of its investigation on the AstraZeneca vaccine on Friday.
According to reports, the World Health Organization’s Global Vaccine Safety Advisory Committee has reviewed the information on AstraZeneca vaccination on Tuesday (16th) and reviewed reports of rare thrombotic abnormalities in people who have been vaccinated.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is expected to explain its findings later on Thursday. The authorities are currently reviewing a few reports about people experiencing bleeding, blood clots, and low platelet counts after being vaccinated.
According to reports, some European countries, including Germany, France, Italy and Spain, have suspended the use of the vaccine after a small number of thrombosis problems have occurred after European people have been injected with the AstraZeneca vaccine recently.
