China successfully launched the communication technology test satellite No. 4 last night (17th), and the satellite also successfully entered the scheduled orbit.
According to Xinhua News Agency, China used the Long March 3B carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center at 11:21 last night to successfully launch the satellite.
The Communication Technology Test Satellite No. 4 is mainly used for verification of multi-band and high-rate satellite communication technologies.
The launch vehicles and satellites used in this launch were developed by China Academy of Rocket Technology and China Academy of Space Technology, respectively.
This mission is the 315th space flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
