The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari in Park Lane case.
According to NAB sources, the son of Asif Ali Zardari and chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are also the accused of Park Lane case.
NAB sources have said that Asif Zardari has been accused of buying a park lane company and 2,000 460 kanal land in Islamabad.
The NAB sources have also told that this amount of Rs 2 billion was purchased in just 62 million rupees.
In the 24 hours, Asif Ali Zardari is expected to be present in the court. It is unlikely that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had arrested former President Asif Zardari on June 10 in the Mega Money Laundering Case last month.
The Islamabad High Court rejected the application of Asif Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in fake accounts case, after which his arrest was taken.
After a few days after the arrest of Asif Zardari, in the same case, his companion Faryal was arrested and kept in her own house and lodged the residence as a prisoner.
