The three major social platforms of the Facebook company, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram have failed, and many cities including China have been affected.
The network interruption detection website DownDetector received reports of Instagram service failures at around 10 pm Singapore time today (July 3). As of 10:30, the number of fault reports has climbed to more than 9,500.
Soon after, Facebook and WhatsApp users also complained that the two platforms had failed.
Problems encountered by users include the inability to log in to the account, the inability to see images, and so on.
According to DownDetector’s data, the problem mainly affects users in the US and Europe, but users in Asia such as Singapore, China, and the Philippines complain that the above social platforms cannot be used normally.
